Once riders reach the upper levels of their sport, in order to achieve their national and international goals they must seek the support of sponsors and individuals like yourself. My primary goal for 2008 is to be selected for the Area III North American Junior Young Rider Championship (NAJYRC) CCI* team. Becoming a member of this team is a critical stepping stone to helping me achieve my goal of becoming an advanced rider, at the international level, and one day representing my country.
I have recently established grant eligiblity with the American Horse Trials Foundation (AHTF). The AHTF was established is 1987 to assist 3-Day Event Riders and Organizers in raising tax deductible financial support for national and international competition. Donations are 100% tax deductible according to IRS Code Section 501(c)(3). Currently the AHTF has certified just over one hundred active riders; of these, just ten are Young Riders (under 21) like myself.
Your support, no matter the size, will allow me to continue to prepare for the challenges of upper level eventing, the NAJYRC and international level competition. Competing at the highest levels of eventing requires great horses and a wonderful support team of family, friends, veterinarians, farriers and people like you. Download a contribution form or see the AHTF website for more information.
These are a few ways you can be part of My Team:
· Donations of money: You or your company can donate money to the American Horse Trials Foundation (AHTF), which will support my grant requests to help with entry fees, travel, training, and all medical, feed and stabling costs. Donations made to the American Horse Trials Foundation (AHTF) are 100% tax deductible according to IRS Code Section 501(c)(3).
· Sponsorhip: you or your company can supply equipment or services, such as: tack or equine related needs. In return I can hang your banner at all events, or use saddle pads embroidered with your company logo, or display samples and/or brochures for your company and products.
· Horse Ownership: You could become a member of a syndicate, own a share in one of my horses and enjoy the excitement of owning an upper level competitor.
No contribution is too small and all are appreciated!
